PROPOSITIONS FOR DEBATE

I, Jack Evans, Sr., affirm that the Holy Bible teaches that an alien sinner living in an adulterous relationship may repent of his adulterous way of life by changing his mindset, be baptized, therein having his sinful state changed by God, and begin a new life in Christ without being required by God to dissolve his marriage to the one to whom he is lawfully married at that point in his life.

I affirm that the New Testament teaches that repentance and baptism requires that non-Christians in Adulterous Marriages terminate those relationships before they can please God. They cannot continue those relationships without continuing in sin. Thus, they must change their minds and their relationships before they can be clean and free of adultery.
