
Syllabus - General Epistles
I. COURSE
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Textbook: King
James Version of the Bible.
2. All reading and
memory work assignments are to be completed before class begins.
3. A midterm test
will be given on the ninth week of classes and will cover the first half
of the semester.
4. A final test
will be given the last day of class and will cover the second half of
the semester.
5. A one page
article is to be completed from each book. This can be (A) a
comprehensive study of the book as a whole, (B) lessons from a verse or
group of verses, or (C) lessons from major themes within the book. These
are due one week after each book is completed.
II. COURSE GRADING:
1. Memory work for
20% of the final grade.
2. Articles will
account for 30% of the final grade.
3. The midterm
exam will account for 25% of the final grade.
4. The final exam
will account for 25% of the final grade.
