1. A Commentary on Isaiah - Homer Hailey
2. Isaiah Volumes I and II - Spring Lectures
3. The Miniature Bible - Tom Holland
C. Five papers of five pages each on topics
assigned by the Instructor.
1. The Unity of Isaiah
2. Isaiah 2:2-3: The church in Isaiah
3. Issues in Isaiah 7:14
4. The Crucifixion in Isaiah 52:13-53
5. Historical Overview of the Times of Isaiah
D. Keep a notebook.
E. Memory Work.
F. Read the book of Isaiah two times.
G. Final Exam
II. Class Schedule: Classes meet each Saturday for 18
weeks beginning the first Saturday in August through the third Saturday
in December with Saturday September 24 and the Saturday following Thanksgiving off. Each
Saturday will consist of three fifty minute sessions meeting at: (Session 1)
11:00 AM - 11:50 AM CTZ. (Session 2) 1:00 - 1:50 PM CTZ. (Session 3)
2:00 PM - 2:50 PM CTZ.
