Syllabus  - The Prison Epistles

Instructor: F.T. Patton

PURPOSE:
An in depth study of the four epistles written by Paul while he was in 
prison at Rome (Acts 28:30-31).

TEXTBOOK:
The King James Version of the Bible only.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS:
Each student is required to read all four books (Ephesians, Philippians, 
Colossians, and Philemon) every week.

Each student will be on the honor system to fulfill the weekly reading 
assignment. This will count as 1/4 of the student's final grade.

Each student will send me two questions and then give their own answer to 
each question. These questions are to be taken from the material that is 
covered in class on that Saturday.

The is one question (with the student's answer) from the first hour and one 
question (with the student's answer) from the second hour.

These questions will count as 1/4 of the students final grade.

The questions will be graded by how much thought the student put into each 
question, as well as the answer.

The question must be e-mailed to me no later than midnight, the following 
Sunday night.

Each student is required to make their own outline of each of the four books as we study them in class.

When we finish the study of a specific book, the student must email me a 
copy of their outline by midnight of the following Sunday night.

NOTICE: It must be the student's own personal outline, not one borrowed from some 
other source.

The outline is to have the proper headings, subheadings, etc.

Each student will use the following style;
