In Memory and Appreciation of Ted Thrasher
Brother Ted Thrasher graduated from the Oklahoma College of the Bible and School of Preaching in McCloud, Oklahoma. He was the preacher at Olathe for over twenty years. He also served as the director of the Online Academy of Biblical Studies for eight years.
Brother Thrasher played a major role in starting and continuing the Online Academy of Biblical Studies. He taught courses for the school, served as the technical director, and in 2011 became the director of the school.
Brother Thrasher and the Thrasher family have been a major part of the work of OABS. Brother Thrasher taught, encouraged, and prepared numerous men for the pulpit who are now gospel preachers. It is because of men like Brother Thrasher that such good works continue to reach the world with the gospel of Christ and continue to train men to preach the gospel.
Brother Thrasher, through his preaching, his teaching, and his example of Biblical faith has encouraged thousands over his life as a gospel preacher and teacher. OABS will always be indebted to the Thrasher family for all they have done for OABS and all they continue to do for the Kingdom of God.
We will continue to keep the Thrasher family in our prayers, and we hope you will as well.
The Thrasher family has asked that in lieu of flowers, contributions be sent to OABS instead. Such contributions should be written to OABS and mailed to the Chipman Road Church of Christ at the address below. You can also write “In Memory of Ted Thrasher” in the memo line.
