Course Description
This course is designed to help young people grow in their knowledge and understanding of the Bible. Each class will be uplifting, encouraging, informative, and age-appropriate for students.
The course will introduce students to important Bible passages, people, events, and principles without placing an overwhelming amount of work on them.

To complete the course, students should:
Certificate of Completion
Each student who successfully completes the course will receive an OABS NEXT Certificate of Completion recognizing their participation and accomplishment.
Our Purpose
The purpose of OABS NEXT is to provide young people with an uplifting and encouraging opportunity to learn more about the Bible, strengthen their faith, and develop habits of Bible study that can continue throughout their lives.
We use Google Classroom for our classes and our LIVE classes are conducted through GoogleMeet.
You will be sent an invite to the Google Classroom and you will join the LIVE class each week through the Google Classroom dashboard. All homework assignments will be placed in the Google Classroom

- Become more familiar with important Bible passages.
- Grow in confidence when studying and discussing the Bible.
- Develop a greater interest in learning God’s Word.
Class Format
Each class will include:
- A Bible lesson
- Scripture reading and discussion
- Important facts and key ideas
- Practical lessons for young people
- Opportunities to ask and answer questions
- Assigned homework after each class (reviewing the previous class), using Google Forms.
Review Questions
A brief set of review questions will be assigned after each class. These questions are intended to help students remember the main ideas from the lesson.
The review may include:
- Multiple-choice questions
- True-or-false questions
- Short-answer questions
- Bible verse questions
Student Expectations
Students are encouraged to:
- Attend each class
- Bring a Bible
- Listen and participate respectfully
- Complete the review questions
- Ask questions when they need help
- Encourage the other students
Completion Requirements
To complete the course, students should:
- Attend the 10 scheduled classes (or view the classes you are unable to attend)
- Complete the assigned review questions
- Participate respectfully
- Show a basic understanding of the material covered
Certificate of Completion
