PURPOSE:
To examine the importance of the preacher's character, endurance, and to discuss the challenges he will face.
TEXTBOOKS:
The King James Version Bible
Diligent Note taking is emphasized in this course
COURSE REQUIREMENTS:
TESTS AND ASSIGNMENTS:
There will be several tests. Each test will be worth 50 points.
Class notes: Worth 25 points each submission.
Five points will be deducted for each day a test or assignment is late
COURSE SCHEDULE:
Classes meet each Saturday for 18 sessions at 1 pm CTZ. Each class will be 50 minutes in length.

7. Factors of Discouragement in Ministry
8. Are You Weary, Are You Heavy Hearted?
9. Inspired Insights into Weariness and Losing Heart
10. Why Preachers “Burn Out”
11. Perspectives of Power in Ministry
12. Defeating Discouragement
13. The Lord’s Identification Is the Preacher’s Motivation
14. The Power of Patience
15. Strength to Survive and Succeed in Ministry
16. Prudence of Preparation (Personal Discipline)
17. His Ability in the Word (Personal Study Habits and Growth)

COURSE REQUIREMENTS:
- Keep diligent notes (to be submitted weekly)
- Complete all assignments on time
- Students are to read the OABS student policies by clicking HERE. These are the guidelines all classes follow.
- When a question is asked in class all students must reply, if you do not know the answer just say so, failure to reply will affect your participation grade.
