PURPOSE:
An in-depth study of the book including:
The spread of the Gospel
Conversion accounts
The apostle Peter
The apostle Paul
The council at Jerusalem
Special topical studies will also be included during this course

TEXTBOOKS:
King James Version and/or American Standard Version of 1901 Bible
J.W. McGarvey's Original Commentary on Acts (Required)
Coffman's Commentaries on the Bible - Acts - James Burton Coffman (Suggested)
The Acts of the Apostles: From Jerusalem to Rome - Wayne Jackson (Suggested)

READING ASSIGNMENTS:
Read at least two chapters each week from the Bible and also the commentaries.
I suggest after the first two chapters, reading the previous chapter then followed by the next two chapters for a total of three each week.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS:
You will be required to keep a notebook for each class period
There will be exams throughout the semester after each chapter via email

Suggested Memory Work:
Acts 2:36-42; 4:19-20; 6:7; 8:12; 8:35-38

SCHEDULE:
Classes meet each Saturday 9:00 AM to 10:50 AM CTZ with a ten minute break from 9:50 PM to 10:00 AM CTZ, for 18 weeks, beginning the first Saturday in August through the third Saturday in December.
