TEXTBOOKS:
- Bible King James Version (Required)
- Introduction to the Old and New Testaments by Max Patterson (Recommended)
- Know Your Bible by Frank Dunn (Required - links to a free PDF book)
COURSE REQUIREMENTS:
- Each student is to keep a notebook to include class notes.
- Memory verses are due throughout the semester according to the schedule.
- There will be two tests in the course.
- There will be worksheets for each topic.
Assignments and Tests
- The memory work assignments are found on the syllabus. Each student will type them out from memory into an email, put the grade in the subject line and send it to the instructor before the start of class on the assigned due date. You may also submit it in google classroom.
- Two tests: One test will be given at the end of the OT. This test will also include information from the intertestamental period. The second test will be given at the end of the NT at the end of the semester.
- With each class there will be a worksheet that must be turned in before the next class period
- You are required to read the corresponding chapters of “Know Your Bible.”
GRADING:
- Memory work will count for 20% of your final grade
- Worksheets will count for 20% of your final grade
- Test will count as 50% of your final grade
- Reading and Notebook 10% of your final grade
