Church History
Instructor: David Long

PURPOSE:
To study and be familiar with the history, apostasy and restoration efforts of the Church found in the New Testament

TEXTBOOKS:
The Holy Bible: King James Version (preferred); American Standard Version 1901 (accepted)
The Eternal Kingdom by F.W Mattox (Required)
The Church, the Falling Away and the Restoration by J.W. Shepherd (Recommended)

COURSE REQUIREMENTS:
Memory work each week
Attendance: Students are required to attend all classes. If a class is missed, the student will be required to view the class on his own time. No credit will be given to any student who fails to make up a missed class.
Term paper: Students must write a term paper (double spaced using Times New Romans font size 12, 8-10 pages) on why the church of Christ is the church that Jesus built and emailed to the instructor by the last week of the course.
Tests: Tests will be given each session
Notes: Students must take good notes. Students will be graded on their notes. Students will be email their notes to the instructor for grading.

COURSE SCHEDULE:
Classes meet each Saturday for 18 sessions at 11:00 am CTZ. Class will be 50 minutes in length. Two breaks total will be taken after six weeks of consecutive classes over the course of the semester.
