WEEK 6 — John 7–8: Conflict at the Feast & “I Am the Light of the World”
WEEK 7 — John 9: The Man Born Blind
WEEK 8 — John 10: The Good Shepherd
WEEK 9 — John 11: The Raising of Lazarus
WEEK 10 — John 12: Final Public Ministry of Jesus
WEEK 11 — John 13: The Upper Room Begins
WEEK 12 — John 14: “Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled”
WEEK 13 — John 15: The True Vine
WEEK 14 — John 16: Preparing the Apostles for Christ’s Departure
WEEK 15 — John 17: The Lord’s Prayer for Himself, the Apostles, and Future Believers
WEEK 16 — John 18: Arrest, Trials, and Peter’s Denials
WEEK 17 — John 19: The Crucifixion
WEEK 18 — John 20–21: Resurrection, Appearances & Restoration of Peter
- The purpose of this course will be to do an in-depth study of the book of John.
- The King James Version of the Bible (only required book)
- Other books may be recommended during the course
- Each student is to keep a notebook including class notes and any handouts.
- There will be study questions that go with each chapter instead of a test.
- There will be study questions assigned throughout the course and need to be turned in on the assigned date found in Google Classroom.
- Throughout the course each student will be required to show the progress of the notebook with notes and handouts.
- Each student is required read the material to be covered in the next class 3 times before the class begins.
