Romans & Galatians

PURPOSE:
To understand more perfectly the concepts found within the books of Romans and Galatians
To provide an opportunity for spiritual growth

King James Version of the Bible
Studies in Romans by Tom Wacaster (Recommended)
Paul's letter to the Saints at Rome by Robertson L. Whiteside (Optional)
A Commentary on Galatians by J.W. McGarvey (Optional)

REQUIREMENTS & ASSIGNMENTS:
Each student is expected to read the material to be covered before class begins.
There will be no tests instead lesson outlines, study questions, and class participation will fulfill the need
What is to be expected from lesson outlines will be discussed in class.
COURSE GRADING:
Four lesson outlines from Romans & two from Galatians
Lesson outlines will account for 50% of the final grade. Check the schedule for due dates
Study questions will account for 30% of the final grade (Study questions will be assigned by the instructor at different times during our studies)
Class participation counts for 20% of your grade, answering questions and when asked and following along with the instructor is key.
COURSE SCHEDULE:
Classes meet each Saturday for 18 sessions at 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM CTZ. Each class will be 50 minutes in length with a 10 minute break between classes. Two breaks total will be taken after six weeks of consecutive classes over the course of the semester.
