Personal Evangelism
Instructor: Ben McRee
Purpose:
1. Recognize the Biblical imperative for the Christian’s involvement in personal evangelism.
2. Become familiar with personal evangelism tools and techniques.
3. Be able to set up and conduct Bible studies with non-Christians.
Textbooks:
1. The King James Version Bible (Required Textbook)
2. “You Can Do Personal Work” by Otis Gatewood (Required Reading) ***You do not have to
purchase this book, the instructor will provide a PDF copy to you for free.
3. Instructor provided Bible study material.
Course Requirements:
1. Students will complete (3) - 150 word reports of contacts they have met, spoken with and
attempted to set up a Bible study with.
Tests & Assignments:
1. Three tests will be given (Due Feb. 6; Mar. 19; Apr. 23)
2. Term Paper, 5-page paper/book report on required reading, single-spaced, 12pt. Font. (Due
April 23rd)
3. Class summaries from each class will be kept in a journal of class periods and will be due at the
end of the course and will be graded. It is the student’s responsibility to keep their journal up-to-
date. (Due April 23rd)
Course Schedule:
• Classes meet each Tuesday at 7:00PM-8:00PM, beginning Jan. 16, 2024 - April 23, 2024, with the
exception of two weekly breaks (Feb. 13th and April 9th).
